Mirrors, Windows, and Sliding Glass Doors.

“Books are sometimes windows, offering views of worlds that may be real or imagined, familiar or strange.”

YES. I love the opening sentence to the article called Mirrors, Windows, and Sliding Glass Doors. It is important that ALL children and students have books that they can relate to. If we want students and children to read then we need to find things that they are comfortable reading. I think that this article was super great at explaining this and it made me really think about things that I have never really thought about before. We want children to read things that empower them and make them feel comfortable or important
